was at Barnes & Noble Book store looking through an issue of
"Nintendo Power" when I noticed the words Pokemon Yellow:
Special Pikachu edition in bold letters at the top of the page.
I immediately stopped and read the page. This is all that I remember. Pokemon Yellow follows the popular TV show more than Red or Blue. For one you have to start out with Pikachu! I am hoping that this means you can catch Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Charmander wild. Back to the point, Pikachu will follow you around on screen as long as you keep it in your party. Just like in the show, it will not like you at first. If you want it to like you, you should a. Battle with it a lot, and b. you should heal it a lot. You can talk to it after it starts liking you. In Yellow, Pokemon will learn their moves at different levels. Sorry, there are no new Pokemon. But, I still think Pokemon Yellow is a must buy. PS - If you get Pokemon Stadium (Under Construction), beat it without any Rental Pokemon to get Surfer Pikachu. Trade it to your Pokemon Yellow Cartridge to unlock a secret Surfing Pikachu game! |
